Junior BI Analyst

• Retrieve data from various sources including databases and spreadsheets; organize and format raw data into structured formats.
• Create auto-updating data marts for BI dashboards.
• Support and troubleshoot predefined data source templates used for visualization purposes.
• Take part in the development and maintenance of self-service analytics tools using BI platforms such as ClicData and Looker Studio.
• Work with cross-functional teams to understand reporting needs, troubleshoot, and deliver timely solutions.
• Support data validation and quality assurance efforts to ensure data accuracy and consistency.
• Document reporting processes to promote transparency and knowledge sharing.

• Advanced understanding of spreadsheets (Excel and/or Google Sheets) and familiarity with presentation and BI tools.
• Advanced knowledge of SQL for querying relational databases.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to explain data-driven insights to non-technical audiences.
• Eagerness to learn and grow in a collaborative team environment.
• Proficiency in English, both written and verbal.

Bonus Points (preferred but not required):

• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Google BigQuery).
• Experience with BI platforms (ClicData, Looker Studio).
• Hands-on experience with Python and Pandas
• Familiarity with ELT/ETL concepts and basic data pipeline workflows.
• Prior experience in a data-driven business environment.
• Previous internship or hands-on experience in a business analytics or BI role.
