
Junior Business Analyst

Responsibilities
- Data Collection & Preparation: Retrieve data from spreadsheets, transfer data into analytical tools while ensuring correct formatting and structure, assist in organizing raw data into structured formats for analysis.
- Data Cleaning & Validation: Perform basic cleaning tasks, such as removing duplicates and correcting errors, standardize data formats, and ensure data integrity and accuracy before analysis.
- Data Visualization: Create simple charts and graphs using standard templates in tools like ClicData, present data insights in a clear and structured manner, follow predefined visualization guidelines and best practices.
- Statistical Analysis: Apply basic statistical techniques to analyze data trends, compute descriptive statistics (e.g., mean, median, standard deviation), and generate visual summaries to support business decisions.
- Collaboration & Reporting: Work closely with business teams to understand data requirements, support in generating reports and dashboards for stakeholders, and document processes and findings to maintain transparency and knowledge sharing.
Requirements
- Proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets, including formulas, pivot tables, and data manipulation.
- Familiarity with PowerPoint for creating reports and presentations.
- Exposure to Business Intelligence (BI) tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, Looker) is a plus.
- Basic understanding of data validation techniques and ability to detect errors in datasets.
- Fundamental knowledge of statistical concepts, with the ability to identify, summarize, and interpret data trends.
- Awareness of data visualization best practices and ability to present insights effectively.
- Proficiency in English, both written and verbal, for effective documentation and collaboration.
