
Planning Team Lead
EMEA (Remote) · Digital Planning
Responsibilities
- Manage a dynamic stream of 7-8 digital planning professionals, including senior planning managers, guiding them to deliver exceptional media strategies and plans based on various client briefs.
- Lead team's involvement in RFP/RFI responses and new business pitches, providing strategic insights and ensuring proposals perfectly align with client goals.
- Manage workload distribution, monitor task priorities, and ensure seamless handoffs to Client Services and MPO (AdOps) departments with all necessary materials and metadata.
- Conduct performance reviews, identify training needs, hire new team members, and mentor your team to unlock their full potential while maintaining team morale and engagement.
- Identify potential issues, team overload, or quality concerns before they impact clients, escalating strategically to ensure continuous improvement and client satisfaction.
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of experience in digital media with at least 2 years of management experience leading 3+ employees.
- Deep understanding of programmatic media infrastructure and digital advertising ecosystem.
- Hands-on experience with DSP interfaces (understanding the platform mechanics, not just placement experience) OR proficiency with major ad platforms (Google Ads, Meta, etc. ).
- In-DSP hands-on experience is a huge advantage.
- Strong experience in media strategy development and client-facing pitches.
- Strong presentation creation skills (PPTX, Google Slides)
- Proven track record in team management, including hiring, performance reviews, workload optimization, and talent development.
- Experience with business development processes and process creation.
- Excellent analytical skills with experience in campaign performance analysis and strategic recommendations.
- Excellent verbal and written English skills (C1+)
